Math Olympiad Record Year 2025!

This year was nothing short of extraordinary for our Math Olympiad team! According to Mrs. Nalini Ganghadar, who has coached for eight years, this has been the most successful season yet, with new records set and the bar raised for future competitions.

We are incredibly proud of our Wichita Montessori students, along with our Independent Lower Elementary participant, for their outstanding performance in the 2025 Math Olympiad.

Here’s what made this year so remarkable:

  • Every student on our team placed in the competition

  • Three students earned prestigious gold pins, the highest number in a single season for our school

  • Gold pins are awarded to students who place in the top 2% nationally

  • One of our newest Mathletes achieved a perfect score across all competitions, earning the Dr. George Lenchner Award—a rare honor given to students in the top 1% nationwide.

This level of excellence reflects not only the talent and hard work of our students but also the dedication of our educators and the supportive learning environment we foster at Wichita Montessori School.
