Spring Time at Wichita Montessori School

Happy Spring, everyone! We’re off to an exciting start this season, thanks to our incredible Geography-a-Thon fundraiser organized by the amazing Parents Group! Our students have truly embraced the challenge, diving into continents, capitals, and global locations, and their enthusiasm is inspiring. A huge thank you to the Parents Group for their dedication in supporting our students and enhancing their educational journey!

Exciting times are ahead for our Lower Elementary students as they dive into a captivating unit on the life cycle! They'll get to hatch chicken eggs in the classroom and observe their amazing development in an incubator. There's something truly magical about springtime and the new life it brings! Our Primary students have been making incredible strides this year in their Kindergarten readiness skills, and we can't wait to welcome many of them into our summer program!

In the Upper Elementary, our students are passionately engaged in their wax museum project, where they'll embody historical figures of their choice. The presentation night in April promises to be an unforgettable event, filled with captivating facts and stories that will delight family and friends long after it concludes. We’re thrilled about all the learning and growth happening in our community!
 
With the lovely weather, students also relish outdoor activities in PE and Spanish classes. It’s such a joy to see them engaged and thriving! In Art class, they painted pictures of spring flowers. We have so much to look forward to this April, including a fantastic Graduation celebration in May. Let’s make the most of this vibrant season together!
