Initial Visit
A representative from Wichita Montessori School will contact you to arrange a visit and give you a tour of our school. This is an opportunity for you to observe Maria Montessori’s method in action. Please note that we kindly ask you not to bring your child on this initial visit.
Child Visit
If you feel that this is a good environment for your child, we invite you to bring them in for a visit. After meeting the teacher, children often enjoy staying with us for a morning or even the entire day. This visit allows the teachers to observe how the children interact in the classroom and work with their peers. By doing this, we can gather important information about each child before making placement decisions, ensuring that the needs of all the children in the room are met.
Parent Meeting
Parents meet with the Division Director or admisions team to discuss the child's strengths, learning style, and any questions about the Montessori approach. This conversation ensures shared expectations and alignment between home and school.
Enrollment Decision
The school reviews all observation notes, teacher feedback, meeting information, and, when applicable, former school records to determine placement readiness. Families are informed of the admissions decision and provided with next steps, recomendations.
