Wichita Montessori School offers a Summer Program for primary students up to kindergarten age. The Summer Program is an ideal way to orient your child into the Montessori method, and into our school; or to reinforce learning for those who have already attended WMS. The Program is taught in our classroom and is led by our teachers with whom your child will work in the fall. There are typically 10 -12 students, with two teachers. The session runs for one month, in the mornings.
Summer offerings for elementary aged children vary from one year to the next—covering such topics as math enrichment, reading workshop, “Route 66”, and Bill Nye, hands-on-science. The upcoming summer schedule is generally available by mid-spring.
